We all need Vitamin D. It helps us to regulate calcium and phosphate in our bodies. These nutrients are needed for bone, teeth and muscle health.
So how can we get more vitamin D in our diet?
In the current climate of Coronavirus, it is recommended that we take 10 micrograms of vitamin D each day.
This is because many of us are indoors and not getting enough sunlight.
But what about those of us who can get out?
So why not go for a walk, take a bike ride, or play some sport? From the beginning of April to the end of September, most of us can get the vitamin D we need from sunlight. The weather is somewhat glorious at the moment, so let’s make the most it!
